"Love Live!" VA unit's last single dominates the week as expected

The TOWER RECORDS Shinjuku store in Tokyo has announced the weekly TOP 10 anime singles/albums for the week of February 29-March 6. As supposed, the number one single of the 9th week of the year 2016 is "MOMENT RING," the last single of the nine-member Love Live! VA unit μ’s, released on March 2.
The CD single also ranked 2nd in the Oricon weekly single chart selling an impressive 96,479 copies in its first week. It surpassed the franchise's previous first week sales record of 91,650 marked by "Bokutachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari/Future Style" released in July 2015 as the insert/ED song for the feature film Love Live! The School Idol Movie.
