The 4th volume of Ryuoh no Oshigoto! ("The Dragon King is Your Job!") - a light novel series about a 16 year old shogi champion and his unlikely group of young female followers - will come with an original drama CD. The cast for the drama CD includes:
- Yuma Uchida as Yaichi Kusuryu, a 16 year old reigning shogi champion.
- Rina Hidaka as Ai Hinatsuru, a 3rd grade student who attaches herself to Yaichi as an apprentice.
- Ayane Sakura as Ai Yashajin, a very demanding girl who attends an elite grade school and also wants to be Yaichi's apprentice.
- Hisako Kanemoto as Ginko Sora, a middle school student and Rank 2 shogi-player who wishes to have a brother-sister style relationship with Yaichi.
- Yurika Kubo as Mio Mizukoshi, a lively and sporty 3rd grade student who is friends with Ai Hinatsuru.
- Chinami Hatsumoto as Ayano Sadatou, a ladylike and level-headed 3rd grade student who is friends with Ai Hinatsuru.
- Yui Ogura as Charlotte Izzard, a cute girl who has attended a French academy for 6 years and who is friends with Ai Hinatsuru.
The Ryuoh no Oshigoto! light novel series is written Shirow Shiratori and features illustrations by Shirabi and supervision by Saiyuki. The series is published by SoftBank subdivision SB Creative's GA Bunko label, which focuses on light novels aimed at men in their teens and early twenties.
The 2nd and 3rd volumes of Ryuoh no Oshigoto! also included special editions with original drama CDs. The 4th volume goes on sale in Japanese bookstores on August 16, 2016. It retails for 2376 yen ($22.18 US) including tax.
