Standalone series of 1-shot manga launched
The June issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine is revealing on Thursday that Minoru Toyoda (Love Roma) is ending hisWatashi ga Sekai o Mamorimasu (I Will Protect the World) series of standalone one-shot manga in the magazine's next issue on June 11. Minoru also made the announcement on Twitter. Minoru launched the manga in February.
Toyoda previously drew a similar collection of five one-shot manga collectively titled Catch and Throw in 2011.
Del Rey published all five volumes of Toyoda's Love Roma manga in North America. He went on to publish Tomodachi 100-nin Dekiru kana (I Wonder If I Can Make 100 Friends) in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine and Takewo-chan Mokke Roku in Shogakukan's Monthly Shōnen Sunday magazine.
He began serializing Saikin no Aka-san, his most recent manga, inShogakukan's Hibana magazine last year after launching the the manga on Twitter in 2014. His other ongoing manga series is Obake no Sally in Shogakukan's Shōgaku Ichinenseimagazine.
