1) Ajin: Demi-Human – It is the latest Netflix Original anime. It is about Kei Nagai, a student who discovers that he is an immortal being, Ajin and that his kind is being hunted by agencies who want to see what makes an Ajin tick. It has extremely dark tones and is a solid thriller.

2) Tokyo Ghoul – The story is about Ken Kaneki, a young man who is attacked by a ghoul, Rize Kamishiro, posing as a human. Due to a secret medical procedure he survives the attack but he too is a ghoul now. He gets caught up between a war of two rival ghoul factions, one which supports coexistence with humanity and one which wants to take over Tokyo.

3) Attack on Titan – After a war with the titans, the humans that survived moved into a huge walled nation. Total chaos ensues when the titans breach the walls. As said by Twinfinite, this anime and manga took the world by storm with its twisted take on the fight for humanity and gory animation.

4) Assassination Classroom – It is about Koro Sensei, who has decided to destroy the world in one year, against a class of junior high students. He has taken on these students to teach them how to become master assassins so that they can kill him and save the world.

5) Naruto Shippuden – This anime is finally ending as the world’s strongest Shinobi get ready for their final battle in the fourth great ninja war. Naruto’s story is about an outcast who becomes a hero. It is an interesting watch with humor and lots of action.

6) Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – A war between Earth and its colonies on Mars is reaching its zenith. Due to Mikazui Augus, an orphan and the legendary Gundam Barbatos, Mars actually stands a chance to escape it’s oppressors. This anime is well written story and mechs get a lot of attention.

7) One Piece – It is about a pirate, Monkey D. Luffy who wants to become the King of the Pirates. He sets off on an adventure across the four seas to achieve this. It has humor, meaningful moments and intense action.

8) Grimgar of Fantasy And Ash – It is about Haruhiro and many strangers who are trapped in a fantasy world and have no memory of how they got there. However, as iDigital Times said, there are indications that these people are actually transplants from the modern world whose memories have been erased.

9) Dragon Ball Super – Dragon Ball Z is probably the most popular anime out there and now it has new story. The story of Dragon Ball Super starts right after the Buu Saga. There are matches, fights, everyone’s favorite Z-Fighters and a whole new level of Super Saiyan.

10) Sailor Moon Crystal – It is about Usagi Tsukino who tries to maintain a balance between her normal of studies and boys and being crime fighting life who looks like an ancient moon princess. This new improved anime is closer to the original manga.
