TV Asahi's official website for the Crayon Shin-chan TV anime series announced today that 41-year-old popular voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya, best known as Levi in the Attack on Titan franchise, is newly cast as Buriburizaemon from tomorrow's episode "The Adventure of Buriburizaemon: Awakening."
The character's original voice cast Kaneto Shiozawa passed away in 2000 at age of 46, since then, the talking pig hero has appeared in the series without speaking lines. This is the first time in 16 years that the character has voices in the anime episodes. Kamiya belongs to the same agency with Kanezawa, Aoni Production.
