Idiosyncratic animator Takashi Taniguchi has revealed that his latest project will be a short-form TV anime about an anthropomorphic fart entitled Onara Goro. The series, which is described as an "everyday heartful comedy", will broadcast weekly in a 5 minute time frame on KBC (Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting) beginning in July of 2016.
Few details are currently available about Taniguchi's newest project, although to get a taste of his unique visual style and comic timing, check out the video above of Mori no Ando ("Ando of the Forest"), one of Taniguchi's most famous animated short films.
