Can we get a shout out from devoted fans as the Hunter X Hunter manga officially returns to Shueisha’s Weekly Sh?nen Jump today, April 18? Yes! The manga anthology magazine has released its 20th’ issue with this good news that the 33rd volume of HxH will be shipped on June 3.
TheBitbag rejoices with all the Hunter X Hunter fans who for sure are truly elated with this good news. Finally, after painstakingly waiting for the 33rd volume, avid followers of the manga series can grab their copy from their fave bookstore in a matter of 2 weeks.
As noted by Crunchyroll, it has been 2 years since the last volume of Hunter x Hunter manga was released. Although, volume 32 was released in Japan in Dec. 2012.
Anime News Network, on the other hand, recalled that Viz Media “released the same volume in North America in April 2014.” Based on the report, “the manga inspired two television anime series; the latest one ran from 2011 until 2014. The manga also inspired two anime films and several original video anime titles.”
Speaking of Hunter X Hunter anime series, ANN says the 1st episode of HxH had already premiered on Saturday, April 16 at 1:00 a.m. EST/PST. The series’ description reads “Gon departs on a journey to become a Pro Hunter who risks his life in search of the unknown. Along the way, he meets other applicants for the Hunter exam: Kurapika, Leorio, and Killua. Can Gon pass the rigorous challenges of the Hunter exam and become the best Hunter in the world!? His wild and epic journey is about to begin!!”
