Super Robot Wars X-Ω Adds Baikanfu From Anime of Gobots Predecessor Machine Robo

Game will also add Shining Gundam, Getter Dragon on May 1

The official website of Bandai Namco Entertainment's Super Robot Wars X-Ω smartphone game revealed on Thursday that it will add Baikanfu from Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos, the Shining Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam, and Getter Dragon fromGetter Robo G to the game on May 1.
The Machine Robo: Revenge of Chronos television anime aired from 1986 to 1987, and is based on Bandai's Machine Robo toy line. Tonka imported the toy line as the GoBots, which inspired the earlier Hanna Barbera cartoon Challenge of the GoBots in 1984, and GoBots: Battle of the Rock Lords in 1986. Baikanfu itself is Machine Robo's remold of the titular toy for the 1979-1980 Toshi Gordian anime.
Bandai Namco Entertainment released the smartphone game on iOS and Android devices last October. The robot action RPG features a crossover story with a new scenario written just for the game. The game features characters and mecha from 28 works:
Additionally, the game features two original characters and an original mecha.
The game also added Kantam Robo from the Crayon Shin-chan television anime series this month as a limited-time offer.
Bandai Namco Entertainment produced the app, Sega Games' Sega Networks Company developed it, and B.B. Studio supervised and wrote the scenarios.
