Could an anime adaptation of the "light novel style RPG" smart phone game be on the way?
Square Enix is once again playing coy with a mysterious teaser website with a timer counting down to an announcement, only this time the website in question is related to Schoolgirl Strikers, "light novel style RPG" for Android and iOS smart phones that began publication in 2014.
The teaser website (available here) features a ticking clock and what appears to be a view of a sunrise on the ocean from space, since you can see the curvature of the horizon. Japanese fans are already speculating that since Schoolgirl Strikers is already a smart phone game, the site may be counting down to an announcement of an anime adaptation.
