Being the crazy anime nerd that I am, I tend to notice a ton of cosplay on the Internet and at different kinds of events. Some are good, bad, decent, or in some very rare cases amazing. Here are the top five anime cosplays that I have seen that make me question whether these people actually are the characters or not!5. Bubbles
Now I know exactly what you're thinking. "What the hell Shawn, this is the biggest piece of crap cosplay ever!" That's where you are wrong, now I know it's technically not an anime, and not what you would expect at any kind of Con, but this cosplay is gold! A big manly dude who dresses up as Bubbles is probably one of the worst, yet most hilarious cosplays I have seen!
4. Gintoki
Back on a serious note, it's a heavily edited photo yet it captures the appeal of Gintoki. The hair looks almost real and with those intense eyes, high quality cloth, and the famous cosplayer who is actually a girl — this cosplay couldn't get much better! She so rocks looking like a man! (Totally almost went to the dark side!)
3. Bleach Cosplayers
I know it's not just one person, and I am not 100% sure it's from Bleach since I haven't watched much of it, but the amount of badassery (totally a word) in this photo is real! I feel like if I saw this in real life, which sadly I didn't, I would just sit there like "Holy hell, is this a live-action movie?" The quality of all the costumes is totally unreal, and the fact that they are lined up almost looks like they're about to have one hell of a showdown!
2. Sanji
This isn't the first time people have cosplayed as Sanji or anything, but this is the first time I have seen him cosplayed as a wanted poster! Not only is it very clever, but the fact that he tried to make himself look crazy silly like the poster makes this cosplay pure gold! When someone makes a normally easy cosplay and turns it into something clever and hilarious you have to give it props!
1. Hatsune Miku
The reason that this one is first is because the realism in it. It's so simple yet so elegant, and if anime were ever a real thing this is what Hatsune Miku would truly look like. The luscious hair, deep eyes, fair skin and high quality outfit all around make this cosplay phenomenal. I almost fell for her myself, but then I realized I'm not a loser and I should probably not do that!
