Good news to all Ajin fans across the globe!
You don’t need to endure trying to decipher the Japanese language while watching the Ajin television anime as Netflix brings you the anime in the most comfortable and convenient way. In a report of Anime News Network, Netflix revealed that it will start to stream the said series outside Japan.
Bringing Ajin outside of Japan also means that the series will come in your television in selected translations, such as English, German, French and Spanish while Italian audio will be made available as a subtitle. Isn’t that great to hear, anime fans?
All related anime film series to Ajin – Demi-Human manga of Gamon Sakurai will be available on Netflix. It should be noted that the TV anime series aired in Japan last January while its Netflix version became available three days after.
The story is about an immortal character seen 17 years ago in an African battlefield. But as time passed by, new immortal beings started to appear alongside humans. These characters are called Ajin, meaning demi-humans. Meanwhile, a Japanese student Kei Nagai will be killed in the story while on his way home from school. He will be able to survive but his life will never be the same again.
The first movie was released on Novemeber 30 in Japan, titled Ajin: Sh?d?. However, the film only lasted for two weeks in the big screens. The film was able to screen in the Tokyo International Film Festival. On the other hand, the sequel, titled Ajin: Sh?totsu, is set to premiere on May 6 in Japan. This is booked for three weeks. The third installment will be debuted in theaters on September 23. This will be titled Ajin: Sh?geki (Ajin: Crash).
Just a brief background on it, Sakurai first unveiled the manga in Kodansha’s good! Afternoon magazine four years ago. The magazine published the seven volumes until last November.
