Ryoko Fukuyama's manga about music, one-sided love launched in Hana to Yume in 2013
The cover of this year's 10th issue of Hakusensha's Hana to Yumemagazine will reveal on Wednesday that Ryoko Fukuyama's Fukumenkei Noise shōjo manga will get a television anime adaptation. The preview for the issue on the magazine's official website had teased that the issue would have an important announcement for the series.
The manga tells a romance story with the themes of "music x one-sided love." Nino, a girl who loves singing, made a childhood promise with her first crush Momo and song-composing Yuzu to someday find her voice. The three went their separate ways, but Nino kept her promise and continued to sing. Years later, the three are now high school students, and Nino is drawn into the world of band clubs.
Ryoko launched the manga in Hana to Yume in April 2013, andHakusensha published the manga's eighth volume in January. The manga's ninth volume (pictured at right) will ship in Japan on Wednesday.
Rock band MAN WITH A MISSION previously created a promotional video in 2013 to commemorate the manga's first volume release.
Tokyopop published six volumes of Fukuyama's 16-volume Nosatsu Junkie manga in English.
