Light Novel Anime Hundred Launches New Trailer & Character Profiles

A new trailer is now available for Hundred, an upcoming school battle science fiction / comedy TV anime based on a series of light novels written by Jun Misaki and illustrated by Nekosuke Ōkuma.



The story of Hundred involves a group of students training at an elite military academy to learn how to wield the mysterious weapons known as "Hundred" in order to defeat the "Savage", an alien life-form that threatens the Earth.



The Japanese broadcast schedule for Hundred was also announced as follows:


  • Tokyo MX: every Monday during the 26:05 time slot beginning April 04, 2016.
  • AT-X: every Tuesday during the 23:30 time slot beginning April 05, 2016.
  • BS Japan: every Saturday during the 24:00 time slot beginning Aprilg 09, 2016.

A series of videos profiling the main characters of Hundred have also been released, including profiles for:


Hayato Kisaragi (voiced by Yoshiaki Hasegawa).



Sakura Kirishima (voiced by Mayu Yoshioka).



Emil Crossford (voiced by Rumi Ōkubo).



Claire Harvey (voiced by MAO).

The Hundred TV anime is directed by Tomoki Kobayashi and features animation by Production IMS. The original Hundred novels are published under SB Creative's GA Bunko label. To date 9 volumes have been published in Japan.
