A couple of weeks ago, when Escaflowne was celebrating its 20th anniversary, Twitter user @otaroimo0130 dug out some series publicity material from Animage magazine, and, while they were at it, shared its gender-anime character rankings. They offered the obvious observation that "Gundam W was strong." And, on the ladies side, Megumi Hayashibara wasn't doing so bad.
