Momoiro Clover Z Announces American Tour

Idol group Momoiro Clover Z announced on their official website on Saturday that they will host a tour in the United States. The "America Ōdan Ultra Live" (Crossing America Ultra Live) tour will visit New York, Los Angeles, and Hawaii, and will have four total performances. The group will reveal more details about the upcoming tour in the future.
The group originally announced the tour at its final stop in Saitama on the domestic "MOMOIRO CLOVER Z DOME TREK 2016 'AMARANTHUS / Shirogane no Yoake'" dome tour on Saturday. The final concert will be held in Saitama on Sunday.
Momoiro Clover Z previously sang theme songs for Sailor Moon CrystalBodacious Space PiratesJoshiraku, and Pokemon: Black and White!. (When the group had six members instead of five, they sang themes for In Solitude Where We Are Least Alone and Dragon Crisis! under their original name Momoiro Clover.) The idols not only sang the theme song for last year's Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' film, but also recorded the song in English and voiced characters in the film.
The group performed at last year's Anime Expo in July, with KISS founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons making an appearance. The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards Japan awarded the music video of the song "Yume no Ukiyo ni Saitemina" — the collaboration song between Momoiro Clover Z and American rock band KISS — in the "Best Collaboration" category in December.
The group will perform a version of the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal: Season III opening theme song.
