"Boruto" the manga sequel to "Naruto" is set to release in a few weeks. In the combined 21st and 22nd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, a few pages showcased previews of what "Boruto" will be like.
A one-shot manga based on Mitsuki will release on April 25. It will be written and drawn by "Naruto" creator, Masashi Kishimoto. It will be titled "Naruto Gaiden: The Road Illuminated by the Full Moon." The storyline takes place before "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring."

The Mitsuki manga will be 45 pages long. In the teaser, it is implied that Mitsuki will be apart of a dangerous S-rank mission. In the pages, we see several interactions between himself and Orochimaru. It appears that Mitsuki was a test subject of Orochimaru, so it will be interesting to see what unique abilities Mitsuki will have. We will also see a battle between Mitsuki and an unknown character who attempts to injure him with a kunai.
After the one-shot Mitsuki manga, "Boruto" will release two weeks afterwards. It will be drawn by Mikie Ikemoto, an assistant of Kishimoto, and Ukyo Kodachi, who wrote the screenplay for "Boruto: Naruto the Movie."
"Boruto" will be available to fans on May 9. It will release once a month via Shonen Jump.
